Hearts of Oak wins 12 wins in 14 friendly matches
Ghana's first-division team Hearts of Oak beat Evergreen FC (4-1) in a friendly match at Pobiman's training camp Saturday morning.
Fatawu Mohammed placed the Phobians in the foreground before Alidu Mohammed equaled the time for Evergreen FC to bring the game to a tie.
The Hearts were unleashed in the second half when Manaf Umar gave advantage to the locals before the Ivorian importer Abdulai Troare did double the bet for the start.
Michael Sarpong scored his first goal for Rainbow while Hearts beat Evergreen FC 4-1.
The Phobians have now won 12 of their last 14 friendlies under coach Kim Grant.
The hearts were supposed to play against Dreams FC on Sunday, but the game was canceled with a new date to come.
