Matteo Guendouzi gave career advice to his teammate Arsenal Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Henrikh Mkhitaryan praised the "great talent" of his teammate Arsenal, Matteo Guendouzi, and also advised the young boy.

Teenager Guendouzi impressed the Gunners midfielder in his first season at the club since arriving in Lorient this summer. He was hailed as the best player on his team in the 3-1 defeat at Manchester City this weekend.

And Mkhitaryan, absent since his 2-0 defeat to Tottenham on Dec. 19, due to an injury, is clearly a big fan.

"He's 19, he has to focus on football!" Mkhitaryan told COPA 90 during the discussion on the early life of Gunners Guendouzi.

"At 18, 19, he comes here and plays for Arsenal Ligue 2 Lorient.

"Not everyone can have that chance, I think he has great talent.

"We tell him every day that he has to work very hard, he must be down to earth because he is still 19 years old and has to work hard, hard, hard and he can become one of the best in the world."

Mkhitaryan also suggested that pbading the language barrier could be key to Guendouzi's development.

"It is always difficult to settle in a new country at a young age, because you have to understand the culture, the language, it's also a new environment to get used to your teammates, to the club, to the mentality of people "continued.

"So I think we are trying to help him settle as quickly as possible.

"He studies the English language, he learns it.

"It's not the best at the moment, but it understands most things."
