Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane have been selected for the prestigious "The Best" award from FIFA.
Mauricio is ready for "FIFA's best coach, men's 2019" while Harry is nominated for "FIFA's Best Male Player 2019".
Both are part of 10-person short lists established by the FIFA Expert Group on the basis of their respective achievements during the period from 16 July 2018 to 19 July 2019. There are also rewards for "Best Women's Coach of FIFA 2019" and "Best FIFA Women's Player 2019".
Mauricio helped create the club's history last season by training us for the first time in the Champions League final. He also led the team to fourth place in the Premier League and thus to the Champions League for the fourth consecutive season.
Harry scored 24 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions in 2018/19. The winner of the first leg of the League Cup semi-final against Chelsea in January sees him becoming the first Spur to score more than 20 goals in five consecutive seasons. He also became the club's top European scorer with the number 24 against Borussia Dortmund in March.
Captain of England, Harry helped the Three Lions reach the semifinals of the League of Nations this summer. He now has 22 goals in 39 selections.
