Mauritania arrived in Ghana ahead of its friendly against the Black Stars on Tuesday at the sports stadium in Accra.
The contingent arrived at Kotoka International Airport Sunday morning before Tuesday's clash.
The Black Stars will face the Chinguetti Lions in a friendly international match on March 26 in Accra as part of preparations for the 2018 Africa Cup of Nations.
The African football capital will host the Chinguetti Lions three days after defeating Kenya in the last qualifying match at the same venue.
Ghana and Mauritania have already qualified for the Nations Cup to be held in Egypt in June this year.
Mauritania suffered a lone defeat to Burkina Faso in their last qualifying match at the 2019 Nations Cup on March 22, before their first tournament appearance.
