Maurizio Sarri has asked to leave Chelsea after accepting personal conditions with Juventus, according to numerous reports.

The Italian signed a three-year contract with Chelsea last summer, but asked lingering questions about his future at Stamford Bridge throughout the season.

Sarri kept putting the ball in Chelsea's camp, insisting he stay at the club for as long as he wanted.

But Juventus' shocked decision to separate from Mbadimiliano Allegri changed Sarri's outlook and Goal said the Italian had agreed to settle in Turin.

Sarri's representatives were scheduled to meet Chelsea in London on Friday and they asked the club to allow Sarri to join the old lady.

Chelsea, meanwhile, is ready to let Sarri go and the Blues could target the legend of the club, Frank Lampard, who currently manages the Derby.

Sarri's salary at Juventus should be around £ 6m a year and Chelsea should make a decision in the coming days.
