Fifteen days have pbaded since the Blues were at Everton for the last time and at that time Hudson-Odoi played his first two games with England. Sarri said to have caught some of the Victory 5-1 in Montenegro on Monday when Hudson-Odoi made his complete debut for the Three Lions.
"I had 14 players in the national teams and I did not have the time to watch 20 games!" Sarri burst out laughing.
"I saw the England national team only 20 or 25 minutes. Callum did not start very well in the first 20 minutes on the right. He left very well right away.
"I know him very well and I know very well that he prefers to play on the left."
Sarri spoke of Hudson-Odoi's prospects of launching a Premier League game
"We have to play eight games in 28 days, and I'm sure Callum will start in two or three of those matches, the Premier League, Europa League, FA Cup, for me it's the same, I'm very confident in him.
"It's not a problem for me to put him in the starting lineup in a Premier League match, he's ready, but I can only play with two wings and we have Hazard, Willian and Pedro. In the near future, he will probably start at 75 or 80% of the matches.
