Mauro Icardi Transfer News: Argentina is preparing to renew its contract with Real Madrid's interest

The captain of Inter, Mauro Icardi, should ignore Real Madrid's interest and sign a new contract in San Siro, according to his agent and wife Wanda Nara.

Icardi, 25, has been one of Inter's few top performers in recent seasons, as the Milan giants struggled to keep pace with their rivals Juventus, Napoli and Roma in their national and European competitions.

Argentina, however, has seen its name tied to an outing several times in recent seasons, with Madrid often being named as a contender.

Speculation has reached its peak this season due to reports of meetings between the player who attended the Copa Libertadores final at Bernabeu's home in Madrid and the Merengue authorities while he was blocking the efforts of Inter to extend his contract.

But Wanda has now revealed that Icardi will soon put an end to a new contract.

The former model also spoke of the relationship between her husband / client and Inter supremo Guiseppe Marotta.
