Sandeep Warrier, which was not auctioned, was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders for the next edition of IPL. This decision comes after a back injury to Kamlesh Nagarkoti.
Warrier had eight wickets in six games – with a hat-trick against Andhra – for a 5.81 saving for Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. Ganguly joins the capitals in an advisory role
