McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge 2019 enters the final phase

The $ 100,000 McDan Entrepreneurship Challenge (MEC) competition entered the final phase.

The MEC seeks to identify the brightest young entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs or students with an extraordinary business model, and reward them with prize money to form the next conglomerate. Africa and beyond.

More than 7,000 registrations (individual and in groups) were received last year when we opened nominations for the MEC award last year. The number was shortlisted at 600, then another preselection took the figure to 60 semifinalists.

Candidates were offered mentoring and mentoring before being cut off from the top 10 finalists who will be featured in a 13-week television series.

The television series will air on Joy News TV on Tuesday at 18h, with a replay on Saturday at 20h. It will also be broadcast on Ghana Television (GTV) on Tuesday at 8:30 pm from April 16, 2019.

With funding from business magnate Daniel McKorley, better known as McDan, the MEC is being organized by TEN Ghana Network (Today's Entrepreneurs Network), an organization that works to encourage the spirit of "creating your own job". Among the young people of the country.
