Business Mogul and President of McDan Shipping, Mr. Daniel McKorley has been authorized to manage and operate the Executive Lounge for private jets at the new Terminal 1 Airport.
This is part of the efforts of the government to change the face of aviation in the country.
The FBO is the airport's private jet terminal, which stands out from the airport's main buildings and offers a range of services to customers, planes and private jet crews.
The new agreement should help the company achieve its goal of improving the customer experience while developing its activities at the airport.
McDan, which over the years has earned an enviable reputation in shipping and logistics management, will now provide all Terminal 3 ground handling services, including general aviation operations, service operators aerators, cell and engine repairers. (maintenance), aircraft leasing operator, aircraft charter operator, aircraft sales operator and storage and rental operator
McDan will need to invest in appropriate equipment and infrastructure to ensure efficient, safe and secure operations at the airport, as well as to recruit and maintain sufficient numbers of staff
Private jet airports and private terminals are designed to make your life easier. Instead of waiting in long queues, you can get on the tarmac, check in on your plane or in the lounge, and be on your way.
This will be the first purpose-built FBO in Ghana, offering business jet operators a secure and private alternative to the airport's main terminal.
The FBO includes a VIP lounge, a crew lounge and a flight planning office, as well as conference facilities and a hangar. Pbadengers and crew members can complete customs and immigration formalities in the same building. The new facility will also include a restaurant, which can provide in-flight catering.
