The final tests in Australia proved to be quite expensive for McLaren after the British team was fined 5,000 euros for safely releasing Lando Norris in the path of Robert Kubica's Williams.
According to a report from the stewards, who spoke with representatives of Norris and McLaren, the team admitted to releasing Norris' car from the garage in an unsafe manner, forcing Kubica to take evasive action.
