An adult pbadenger with measles who traveled to Finland on a Tallink train announced a health warning.
Pbadengers from Silja Serenade (built in 1990, 58,000 gt) between 1 and 3 February were asked to verify that they had been vaccinated, YLE reported.
The ferry serves the Helsinki-Stockholm route.
According to the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), a pbadenger received a diagnosis of measles on Monday and was reportedly infected in southern Finland.
Measles cases reported in Finland began to appear towards the end of last year.
THL warned that people born in the 1970s in Finland may not be vaccinated.
The unit Tallink Silja said that she was trying to reach the pbadengers who were part of the weekend trip.
