Rosler is waiting for Malmo to test Chelsea
In an interview with The telegraphMalmo manager Uwe Rosler said his team was well prepared for the Europa League match against the Blues this week and had the mentality to get a good idea of themselves.
Malmo has not played a competitive match since mid-December when they beat Besiktas 1-0 in the Europa League, but Rosler feels a sense of hunger in his team as he prepares for his biggest European match since his meeting with Nottingham Forest in the 1979 European Cup final.
"I just think we have the mentality, and the mentality, especially at home, is to go out and give them a very good game," said the former Manchester City striker.
"Whether from the beginning or later, I do not know, I've seen a lot of Chelsea and the tactic will be clearer when we know who can play or not.
& # 39; Everyone [in the Malmo squad] really pushes to be part of the game. For me, as a coach, it's a dream scenario. "
Rosler was Brentford's coach when they restricted Chelsea to a 2-2 FA Cup draw in 2013, but he believes the top clubs in the Premier League are now much more difficult to contend with.
"The difference between the top six and the rest of the Premier League is getting bigger, it also means that the top six are compared to clubs like us," added the German.
"The difference, the chance to create a disadvantage, is getting bigger and bigger against us."
