The most eligible singles on the New Jersey coast are looking to settle. Twenty women compete to win the hearts of DJ Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino in MTV's new show Double blow to love, which will be broadcast on Thursday, April 11th.

MTV has gathered 20 women from all over the United States who will compete for the affections of Vinny and Pauly D in this Bachelor-meets-Jersey Shore dating show. They are:

- Christina Lawrence, 29, from Los Angeles
- Derynn Paige, 25, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey
- Deseree Flores, 37, Scottsdale, Arizona
- She Wilson, 25, from Waverly, Pennsylvania
- Holly Gurbisz, 26, from Matawan, New Jersey
- Maria Elizondo, 22, from west New York, New Jersey
- Marissa Lucchese, 22, from Mbadapequa Park, New York
- Michelle "Mish" Gao, 22, from Tustin, CA
- Nadya Erazo, 29, from Pomona, California
- Nikki Hall, 26, from Los Angeles
- Shira Tran, 27, from New Orleans
- Susan "Suzi" Baidya, 30, from Irvine, California
- Victoria Fryer, 25, from Chicago
- Zuljeily Andino, 30, from Miami
The 20 women will face each other in order to avoid the dreaded elimination ceremony. However, guys do not hold all the power. They must also compete for the affection and attention of the candidates. MTV promised that it would act of a "reality show not resembling any other".
Pauly D, 38, is looking for a woman capable of following her luxurious lifestyle while performing a residency at a nightclub in Las Vegas. Vinny says he is ready to renew a relationship, but will he really be able to find someone to take home for Sunday family dinner?
A candidate, Maria Elizondo, appeared in season 7 of MTV's film Are you elected? On this show, she was perfect with Shamoy, but things did not work out (it turned out he had a girlfriend at home) so she is now trying her luck with the Jersey.
Other candidates include a nursing student, a personal trainer, a dancer, the host of a travel television show and, of course, several models.
