Meghan Markle Baby: The new picture of Archie revealed while the details of the baptism were confirmed | Royal | New

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Susbad, kept the details of Archie's first weeks very secret.

They introduced him to the world after he was born on May 6, but have since published only one photo of his feet for Mother's Day.

This weekend, however, the royal couple seemed inspired to share some of their good news, publishing a new photo and revealing some details of the baptism.

The picture shows Archie Harrison nestled in his father's arms with his finger around his father's, looking straight into the camera.

This is the best look we've seen on little Archie's face, the couple hiding it especially when they introduced him to Windsor.

The photo was posted on the couple's official Instagram page and coincides with Harry's first father's day.

Another exciting news, the Susbad have officially confirmed that they would baptize Archie next month at a ceremony to bring back the loot of a traditional royal event.

Archie will be baptized in the Anglican religion in St George's Chapel, where Meghan and Harry were married.

The ceremony is expected to be presided over by Windsor Dean Reverend David Conner and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby who officiated at the wedding of Meghan and Harry.

All wear the traditional Windsor garment for the day, a replica of the Christening Christening gown christened by Queen Victoria for the christening of her first child, Princess Victoria, in 1841.

Many royals will be on the guest list.

Prince Charles, Harry's father, and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, will be present.

Prince William, Harry's brother, and his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, will also be present, probably with their three children, Archie's cousins.

Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, is also expected to come from California.

The queen will not be present however, the palace claiming that she has previous commitments.

Her husband, Prince Philip, is also unlikely to attend the ceremony because he is now retired and lives in Norfolk.

The queen and Philip missed Prince Louis's baptism last year, though they were successful by George and Charlotte.

Now that the baptism has been confirmed, we may be wondering who could be the godfather or godmother.

According to Ladbrokes, Meghan's best friend, Jessica Mulroney, is the most likely godmother with a 1/7 chance, and Harry's best friend, Charlie Van Straubenzee, is 1/5 of the godfather.

The other famous names in the running are Prince William and Kate Middleton with 7/2, George and Amal Clooney with 5/1 and Serena Williams with 11/2.
