The Duchess of Susbad is launching a clothing line to support a charity helping unemployed women find work.

Meghan said the workwear collection would ensure the continuity of the Smart Works charitable organization. The clothing baskets and the Smart Work shoe and bag range are now available in inconsistent sizes and colors, she said.

She has teamed up with designer and friend Misha Nonoo and British retailers Marks & Spencer, John Lewis & Partners and Jigsaw to create the collection.

"Many brands have agreed to use the one-for-one model: for every item purchased by a customer, one is donated to a charity," wrote Meghan in the September issue of British Vogue, which she published. "Not only does this allow us to be part of everyone's story, it reminds us that we are together."

Smart Works offers training and maintenance clothing to unemployed women. The charity says that he has helped more than 11,000 people. Meghan has visited the organization privately since he was named boss in January.

She said Smart Works was wrongly considered a "makeover" program that turned a woman into a new person with donated clothes. Meghan described this in the magazine this week as a network of women seeking to empower other women.

"It's not a fairy tale," she wrote. "If you're looking for a cultural reference, forget about Cinderella, it's a Wonder Woman story, ready to face the world in its metaphorical and literal cloak."

The creator Nonoo is the person who credited the organization of the blind date that introduced Meghan and her future husband, Prince Harry.
