Former ITV News Royal Editor Tim Ewart has been admitted to Yahoo UK's The Royal Box. However, Meghan could appeal to a new royal fan base that could fulfill the Queen's last wish for her family. Mr. Ewart said, "I think what Harry and Meghan have done is very appealing to a younger generation, as the Queen wanted.
"The reality for the monarchy is that when the queen dies, one of the reasons for the popularity of the monarchy will disappear.
"Much of the popularity of the monarchy is based on the popularity of the queen. Will this transfer to his son?
"Open question, we do not know, but it is suggested that he is not as popular as her."
He said that when the queen pbaded, there was a possibility that the monarchy would lose popularity.

Mr. Ewart also said that Harry had trouble telling Meghan how difficult life would be in the royal family.
He added that anyone entering the family should be "prepared for what it was going to be".
He told the series, "When it was Diana, there were photographers, cameramen, people did not use smartphones.
"Now every person encountered by a member of the royal family has a smartphone.
"Every word that is said, no matter where the TV cameras are, or where the hunters, the photographers, can be anywhere, but every person has his or her phone or his iPad, nothing is private anymore. "
Previously, it was thought that Harry had first tried to keep Meghan out of the spotlight.
He did not want her to be afraid of advertising the relationship and what it would attract.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot last year and have since welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison.
