Speaking in the Italian TV show Live No E The Urso, Thomas Markle Jnr appealed for warming to his sister, while acknowledging his regret for writing a letter to the Queen last year. During the interview, Thomas insisted that he had made a mistake by sending a letter to the Queen to inform him of the dangerousness of Meghan Markle. Thomas said, "I am everything for Meghan and I want to be reunited as a family.

"I love her very much and I am very proud of her.

In the interview, Thomas continued to admit that he had made mistakes while insisting that Meghan was a "great person".

Thomas, 52, has not spoken to his sister for eight years, but admitted that the pressure on the royal was strong since his marriage to Prince Harry.

Speaking of his letter and the reason he wrote it, he said, "She went into the spotlight overnight and it was very difficult for her and her family.

"I wrote this letter at a time of real frustration.

"I asked him for help to deal with the press, but I received no response and it was very frustrating for me. That's the reason I wrote this letter. "
