The Duchess of Susbad has earned the nickname "me-gain" among Kensington Palace staff, according to Tatler.

Meghan, 37, allegedly rubbed courtiers in the wrong way, insiders revealing that she had been dubbed "Duchess Difficult".

Now, in a new report published in the May edition of Tatler, another unflattering nickname has been suggested: "Me-gain".

This name would even be used by members of his own staff at Kensington Palace.

Recalling the vicious attacks that Sarah Ferguson suffered as a result of being married to the royal family, the article reads: "Meghan has seen nothing of such – although the palace staff Kensington now calls it "Me-Gain".

Kensington Palace has disputed similar reports about the Duchess's relations with her staff on several occasions.

The Duchess of Susbad, who is due to give birth to her first child in the coming weeks, has been accused by reports of a demanding nature and a relentless work ethic that has been a problem for her aides.

She has been linked to several resignations of staff, including personal badistant Melissa Toubati, who reportedly gave her opinion last year because the work had become "too much".

A source close to the case said at the time: "His work was under pressure and in the end, it was getting too difficult.

"She has borne a lot. Meghan put a lot of demands on her and she ended up in tears.

And earlier this month, it was announced that Amy Pickerill, who had been named Meghan's badistant private secretary last year, will leave after the couple moved to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor this month.

This decision is shocking because Amy was chosen to work for Meghan and is expected to succeed Samantha Cohen, who is due to leave the Duchess as private secretary after 17 years in the royal family.

It is understood that Amy will leave the royal house and will go abroad.

She played an important role in Meghan's introduction to the royal life by organizing charitable projects such as the cookbook published by the Duchess to help families affected by the Grenfell Tower disaster.

Last week, Anna Pasternak, royal writer, said about the Duchess, who would probably give birth next month: "I think Meghan must understand that she can not live in the royal family like a Hollywood star.

"In the monarchy, this requires a very different set of behaviors."

"You can not have everything. You can not have your freedom and this privilege … This is not a fairy tale. Recognize this and live with the consequences.

Kensington Palace declined to comment.
