Mel, who had a difficult divorce with her ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, watched Lee Christie pose the question to his partner Duane Watters in Manchester on Friday.
Mr Watters is a big fan of the band and Mr Christie was invited to the stage for the big moment by Mel, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Mel C.
The video shared on Twitter reveals the moment when he knelt before the couple kissed in front of thousands of enthusiastic Spice Girls fans.
After, Mel B joked, "Make sure you sign a marriage contract."
The Spice Girls, without Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, give three concerts in Manchester as part of their long-awaited tour of the Spice World meeting.
They have already played in Cardiff and Dublin.
