President-elect Biden said “the will of the people had prevailed” after officially winning the US election last week.

Democrat Biden defeated Republican Trump in November after projections showed he passed the 270 vote threshold needed for the electoral college to win.

However, this was confirmed when California, the most populous state, handed its 55 electoral votes to Mr Biden on December 14.

A source told CNN that rumors that Mr. Trump, 74, will start campaigning for the next election “may not go well” with his wife, 50.

Mr Trump also retweeted the UK’s plans to introduce a new Level 4 lockdown.

With that, he claimed the lockdowns are “worse than the problem itself” alongside the announcement of the Prime Minister’s announcement.

He tweeted: “We don’t want a lockdown.

“The cure cannot be worse than the problem itself!”

Mr Trump also criticized other European countries for announcing new lockdowns to fight the virus.

He said, “What the hell are they [Europe] Make?

“I think I’ll go explain it to them.”
