According to him, the privileges of the law provide Assembly members with the opportunity to perform their duties effectively to improve the process of decentralization. Mr. J. Awuah pointed out that the Standing Orders set out the duties and responsibilities of members of the Assembly and that, without studying it, it might also help their performance and functions.

"In addition, the Standing Orders require you to hold regular meetings with your constituents, to gather their views and to forward them to the Assembly in the form of reparations proposals," he said. .

Participants emphasized the need for capacity-building workshops to overcome their shyness and improve their lobbying and fundraising skills. The workshop attracted more than 20 participants from all constituencies of the municipality.
