Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Menzgold, currently in trouble, Nana Appiah Mensah, arrived in Ghana after being acquitted of fraud in the UAE.
Appiah Mensah, better known as NAM1, has been in the Gulf country since last year for a botched gold deal.
He reportedly landed at Kotoka International Airport at noon and is currently in custody at the National Investigation Bureau (BNI) for questioning.
The Dubai Supreme Court on Tuesday, June 2, 2019, ruled that Horizon Royal Diamonds was to repay $ 39 million in gold NAM1 provided.
The court also ordered the Dubai-based company, which was demanding his arrest and prosecution, to pay him all outstanding debts.
Menzgold's clients are clamoring for Nana Appiah Mensah's arrest for their blocked investments.
In January, a circuit court in Accra issued a warrant against him for defrauding under false pretense.
This followed Menzgold's inability to repay the injured customers whose investments remain stuck with the gold distribution company.
