Menzgold now operates from its headquarters
Popular security consultant Irbard Ibrahim has set up a center to provide free psychological and financial service to clients of the gold trading company Menzgold Ghana Limited.
Clients have been harmed since the company's shutdown by public bodies, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Efforts to obtain their extra values have proved futile.
Most of them have organized demonstrations to demand at least their constituents.
A statement from the managing director of Irbard Security Consult urged millions of Menzgold customers to "feel comfortable with themselves".
He said that a three-tier approach would be applied to the provision of services.
The first will be an introductory session.
The second will be to make an appointment with a clinical psychologist "to help the victims overcome the trauma and the first signs of depression they go through".
The third will be to meet a financial badyst "to help victims with ideas on how to pick up coins and get back to normal financial after losses suffered."
You are not stupid or greedy!
Most of Menzgold's clients were upset that Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta told them that they were greedy.
In a subtle jab, Mr. Ibrahim said: "Saving money with Menzgold does not make you stupid or greedy."
"Even great minds like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and Donald Trump have already suffered investment losses.
"So do not eat pain and regret. Close this sad chapter of your life and open a new one.
He asked them not to consider suicide.
"Please, and please, suicide is certainly not a wise option at this critical time."
So far, the government is negotiating with the UAE authorities to extradite Menzgold's CEO to Accra for further actions.
