Mesut Ozil loves his new hair style, but he is ready to give it up on his return to London.

Ozil's dyed blonde hair after he, Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac lost the crossbar challenge won by Alexandre Lacazette.

Ozil is no longer missing on the field during the Arsenal pre-season tour in the United States.

Ozil said, "It was a bet between me Lacazette, Shkodran and Sead Kolasinac, it was a challenge on the bar, so Lacazette was the winner.

"We were the losers, me Sead and Mustafi and the bet was to change the hair of a different color, so what I did was blond, Sead green and Mustafi tried something different but at the end of his death, he was unhappy and changed the color of his hair back so that's what happened, that's all.

Ozil shone in Arsenal's win over Bayern Munich alongside young Arsenal players including Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah.

Ozil believes Nketiah has a bright future

"I've never been there (in Charlotte) but I know it's a bit warmer than Los Angeles but that's it.
