Mesut Ozil opens on the exciting young stars of Arsenal and the truth behind her blond hair

Mesut Ozil loves his new hair style, but he is ready to give it up on his return to London.

Ozil's dyed blonde hair after he, Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac lost the crossbar challenge won by Alexandre Lacazette.

Ozil is no longer missing on the field during the Arsenal pre-season tour in the United States.

Ozil said, "It was a bet between me Lacazette, Shkodran and Sead Kolasinac, it was a challenge on the bar, so Lacazette was the winner.

"We were the losers, me Sead and Mustafi and the bet was to change the hair of a different color, so what I did was blond, Sead green and Mustafi tried something different but at the end of his death, he was unhappy and changed the color of his hair back so that's what happened, that's all.

"They (teammates) really like that, but for me if I wake up in the morning, it looks different because I still have black hair, but now I really love them, so I do not I do not know if I will keep this hair in London. I do not know, but for now, I'm fine.

Ozil shone in Arsenal's win over Bayern Munich alongside young Arsenal players including Joe Willock and Eddie Nketiah.

The German thinks that the future is bright for Arsenal and sees a few, including Reiss Nelson and Emile Smith-Rowe, taking the plunge this season.

Ozil said, "Right now we have a lot of young players and yesterday Joe Willock is playing with us. He really showed his quality and Eddie, everyone knows him Eddie in the team.

"He is fighting hard and wants to help us, as well as Reiss. He had a lot of experience in Germany. He played very well during the season there, so these people, this type of players, especially young players, will help us a lot.

"Do not forget Emile. He is a little hurt so he comes back, we also know his quality.

"At Arsenal, I think we're lucky to have these young players."

Arsenal was based in Los Angeles but is now playing against Fiorentina on Saturday but needs to prepare for a scorching 90-degree heat in Charlotte.

Ozil added, "We really feel happy because everyone loves the city of Los Angeles, even though it's sunny. It's not so hot and it's so cold that you can really work hard and have a lot of fun. Everyone is happy and we are very happy to be here.

"I've never been there (in Charlotte) but I know it's a bit warmer than Los Angeles but that's it.

"Of course, if the weather is too hot, you can not really work hard, like what we did in LA or London, so it's very hot, like 35 degrees, you have to work out another The coach knows what he's going to do.

"Let's see how we train there. We are looking forward to the match against Fiorentina. It will be a different game.

"As a player, you know it's always nice, especially in pre-season, you travel a lot and you can see the city and I'm really happy to do it now."
