Mesut Ozil refused the opportunity to join Paris Saint-Germain for a temporary contract
Neymar is 10 weeks behind in a straight line after suffering a foot injury during a clash in the Coupe de France against Strasbourg a week ago.
He will miss the UEFA Champions League round of 32 with Manchester United and Thomas Tuchel is eager to see his squad injected into an offensive threat in his absence.
Since Unai Emery arrived in the summer, Ozil no longer has the favor of the United Arab Emirates and takes the direction of Arsene Wenger.
It started only 13 of the 24 league matches of the Gunners of this campaign. His coach has hinted that he did not trust the former Real Madrid player in decisive matches, leaving him for tactical reasons.
Reports also suggest that PSG could move the winger bound for Chelsea winger Willian.
Ozil and Willian would both be available for the Champions League, having been featured only in the Europa League for Arsenal and Chelsea respectively this season.
