Six months after the start of his term, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is struggling to stem a wave of violence in the country.
Lopez Obrador says he wants to fight crime with social programs that will not only lift people out of poverty, but will prevent at-risk youth and unemployed adults from ending up in organized crime.
