"A few years ago, I went to LA and soon after, I legally changed my name to become Michael Jackson.
"I have been blindly supporting it for years, and for some time now, everything has been telling me that I did not think about it anymore.
"There is too much doubt and I now have that name that I have to get rid of.
"I try to enter the care sector but every time I do a DBS check [criminal record check] I must disclose my full name and if I live a job like this, I'm really ashamed of having chosen to change my name to that of an alleged pedophile and convinced.
"I asked for a legal opinion and I can not do anything to change my name by a vote without having to pay a fee of £ 120, which I can not afford.
"I just want to leave this behind me, I can not have that name above me, I just want a fresh start."
