Michelle Wie walks on the practice green before the Lotte Championship round on Wednesday in Koolina.
Michelle Wie missed the LPGA Lotte Championship Cup, finishing 10-10 after shooting 77 times in today's second round, repeating her first-round score on Wednesday.
The line of cut should be lower than that of golfers in the afternoon. When Wie finished her round today, she was alone in last place of the 144 participants.
Wie, who won this tournament in 2014, worsened his right hand in Wednesday's round; it is the same hand on which she was operated last year.
The leader of the first round, Nelly Korda, was still leading the standings after her under 68 play on Thursday at 68, putting her at 13 under the middle of the tournament.
"It was completely different from yesterday. In fact, I knew the (windy) weather in Hawaii today, "said Korda, playing here for the first time. "It was hard. I did not hit all the shots perfectly. I've had some bogueys. But I found myself pretty solid today.
Defending champion Brooke Henderson also shot 4 on hand Thursday morning and was in second place, two strokes away from Korda's pace.
Hyejin Choi has found herself alone in third position at 9-under and is expected to play her second round in the afternoon.
