Mick McCarthy exposes his unique way of dealing with Saipan's issues

The second reign of the President of the Republic of Ireland, Mick McCarthy, started positively with two wins out of two after Tuesday's 1-0 win against Georgia.

In many ways it was a performance we expected from a McCarthy team; organized, well trained, fully engaged. However, as far as the manager is concerned, this is the only aspect of the previous reign that he wishes to recall.

Prior to the match against Ireland, McCarthy had spoken to Sky Sports and had been questioned in a predictable and irritating manner on the infamous Saipan Roy Keane fall.

As he wishes, when asked questions, he does not want to answer. McCarthy manages to defuse the situation with lively humor.

McCarthy was not in the mood to walk on a well-used floor and explained that he now has a method to deal with Saipan's issues.

"There is a contest in my house, I tell you, the one who will mention it will be the dick of the day, congratulations!"
