Microsoft is due to release a record number of fixes for the patch on Tuesday next week, the company confirmed.
There will be 14 fixes covering 34 vulnerabilities, eight of which are labeled as Critical and six as Important.
The flaws affect Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, SQL and Silverlight.
Angela Gunn, head of security communications at Microsoft’s Security Response Center, wrote on the division’s blog: “This will be the most bulletins we have ever published in a month.”
However, she claimed that when it comes to the number of vulnerabilities and common exposures (CVEs), the fixes matched those of June, so “there is no new record.”
