Microsoft would apparently work on devices with folding screens

January 15, 2019 –
Rumor has it that Microsoft is preparing Windows for use with foldable and multi-screen devices.

Microsoft apparently wants to develop devices with foldable and multiple displays. As anonymous sources familiar with Microsoft projects, The Verge, say, Redmond is currently investing heavily in adapting Windows and standard applications so that the operating system can be displayed on multiple foldable screens. So recently on the Twitter account "buildfeed" an entry was visible, the construction of Windows 10 called rs_shell_devices_foldables showed that Microsoft is currently developing a Windows version for foldable displays.

Even before the release of Windows 10, Microsoft had stated that the operating system should be used on as many different devices as possible. It has also been known for a long time that Redmond companies are working on the Windows OS modular operating system, which they were looking to complete last summer for a chief developer ("Swiss IT Magazine").

Given that more and more device manufacturers, such as smartphones, are using collapsible displays, it's no wonder that Microsoft wants to create its operating system for innovation coming to the hardware market.
