Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Deputy Minister of General Education, called on non-state actors in education to implement innovative strategies to support government efforts to transform the sector.

Dr. Adutwum made this call at a stakeholder meeting in Tamale Wednesday on improving student learning outcomes in the five northern regions.

The meeting, organized by the Ministry of Education in partnership with the STAR Ghana Foundation, brought together officials from the Ministry of Education and non-state actors of education in the five regions in order to discuss educational gaps leading to low learning outcomes for students. in the area and go out with suggestions to reverse the trend.
