Accra, April 09 GNA –
Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Minister of Youth and Sports, inspected the
construction of a boys' dormitory for the youth training and education program
Institute in Takrowase in the Eastern Region.

The youth of Takrowase
Leadership and Skills Training Institute, which is one of 11 centers
the whole country, undergoing infrastructural development, was in a
deplorable state and lack of basic infrastructure, which required a facelift
to serve the necessary purpose.

According to
MP for the Atwima Mponua constituency, the government found the
need to revive and invest more resources to ensure the sustainability of these institutions
Good shape.

Mr. Asiamah added that
Securing the future of young people is a priority for Nana Addo Group
administration and urged young people to take advantage to acquire skills and
knowledge for their future.

Ms. Marian Mansa
Minnah, Regional Director of the National Youth Authority (NYA), said
the Authority registered and collaborated with all youth groups to continue
advice with regard to the acquisition of skills in the fields of agribusiness,
technical skills, entrepreneurship training, ICT training, among other modules
designed expressly for youth.

She congratulated the
Government for having set up such a project for young people, describing
like "wonderful".

Mr. Charles K. Kodua,
The director of the Institute said that the project had begun to attract
students at school because there has been a significant impact on enrollment.
