Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah urged youth to acquire the required skills and knowledge
Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah inspected the construction of a boys' dormitory for the Youth Training and Training Institute in Takrowase, in the East region.
The Takrowase Youth Training and Skills Training Institute is one of eleven (11) centers in the country undergoing infrastructural development.
The sector minister said the centers were in deplorable conditions and lacked basic infrastructure, adding that the government had recognized the need to revitalize and invest more resources to ensure the smooth operation of these facilities. institutions.
L & # 39; Hon. Asiamah added that the priority of the Nana Addo-led administration was to ensure the future of young people and urged young people to take advantage of them to acquire skills and knowledge for their future.
Marian Mansa Minnah, Regional Director of the National Youth Authority (NYA), said the Authority was registering and collaborating with all youth groups to participate in the acquisition of skills, especially in the areas of agribusiness, skills, entrepreneurship training, ICT training, among other modules designed purposefully for young people.
She congratulated the government for setting up a project of this type for young people, which he describes as "wonderful".
The Institute's director, Mr. Charles K. Kodua, also revealed that the project attracted students to the school and had a significant impact on enrollment.
