President Akufo-Addo revealed that discreet efforts were being made to trace the three missing Takoradi girls.
Speaking Wednesday as part of a tour in the West region, the president said he was confident that the girls will be found.
"Every effort is made to bring back girls," he said.
The girls Ruth Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie were reportedly abducted between August 2018 and January 2019.
The main suspect in the kidnapping, Samuel Udoetuk-Wills, is currently in trial court of Takoradi after escaping from prison in December 2018 after his first arrest.
"The fact that little information is in the public domain does not mean that the state or security agencies are not working hard to ensure their safe return to their families." said Akufo-Addo.
President Akufo-Addo also asked the Western Region Police to incorporate all the perpetrators of the aggression and kidnapping of the Lower Dixcove Chief Superintendent, Nana Akwasi Agyemang.
According to President Akufo-Addo, "I told the police that all those who committed the attack, whether they be 10 or 100 people, must be gathered together and brought to court so that the law follows the legitimate course. The law must also deal with those who helped in the conduct of the crime. "
He continued: "Whether today or tomorrow, those behind this act will eventually face the full weight of the law."
