Mohamed Salah has once again left the door open for a possible move to Spain and opened up about his relationship with Jurgen Klopp.
The forward sparked speculation about his future at Liverpool when he refused to rule out a transfer to La Liga title contenders Real Madrid or Barcelona in December.
That speculation escalated further earlier this month when the forward slashed a disgruntled figure after being substituted shortly after the hour in his side’s 1-0 home loss to Chelsea.
The move was greeted with a cryptic tweet from player agent Ramy Abbas Issa, which sparked more speculation about the Egyptian’s Anfield future.
Salah has had another superb personal season in the Premier League and is currently the top scorer with Harry Kane with 17 goals.
The Egyptian is currently absent on an international mission and has admitted he would be tempted by a transfer to La Liga “ one day ”.
He said, “It’s not up to me. We’ll see what happens, but I’d rather not talk about it for now.
“I hope I can play for many more years, so why not? Nobody knows what’s going to happen in the future, so maybe someday, yes.”
Meanwhile, the Liverpool forward, speaking to Spanish publication Marca, also opened up about his relationship with Klopp.
The Reds boss has downplayed the importance of the replacement against Chelsea and has previously admitted that he believes Salah will stay at Liverpool for ‘a very long time’.
But when asked what his relationship was like with his boss, the former Chelsea man offered a rather timid response.
“It’s a normal relationship between two professionals. That’s how I would describe it, ”he answered the question.
Liverpool face the possibility of being left without Salah for their entire preseason campaign after the striker was named to Egypt’s preliminary squad for this summer’s Olympics.
Matches will take place in Tokyo, with the tournament taking place between July 23 and August 8, meaning the forward would miss a significant part if not all of the Reds’ pre-season preparations.
Salah declined to question whether he will represent his country this summer, but admitted that whatever he does will be with his club.

“Whatever happens, everyone will agree – including my club,” he replied when asked if he was going to play in the Olympics.
The Reds are currently seventh in the table, 25 points behind leaders Manchester City heading into the final months of the season.
However, the Reds have a Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid next month, and Salah admits his team’s poor domestic form has made them more determined to win the European Cup this season.
