Mohamed Salah returned to social media two days after deactivating his accounts.

The Liverpool star surprised fans Wednesday by removing his Twitter and Instagram profiles on the back of an encrypted message.

The 26-year-old said: "Resolution 2019: It's time to get in touch, for real."

Many took this as an indication for Salah who wanted to stay away from social media, while others thought that abuse for diving had become too important.

In the end, nothing was the same – and it was revealed when the Reds forward returned to social media on Friday afternoon.

Salah uploaded a photo of himself opening a DHL package.

The cliche arrives just a day after DHL Express in Egypt posted a chart saying that they had "found" Salah.

The delivery company subtitled the short video with: "We reached Mo Salah and we can connect to him."

DHL's marketing ploy has certainly caught the attention of fans, who were mainly delighted that the Liverpool star has simply returned to his schedule.

And it was a good week for Forward, who has to build a museum in his honor.

The Liverpool striker is celebrated for his achievements in the form of the "Mohamed Salah Sports Center" at the Gezira Youth Center in Cairo.

The museum will include some of the sports star's business, jerseys representing the teams he has played for and photos of the star at key moments in his career.
