Mohamed Salah reveals how the "pressure" on the title of the Premier League affects its form

Mohamed Salah admits that he feels the pressure as Liverpool fights Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Jurgen Klopp's team travels to Old Trafford Sunday to try to restore his three-point lead over City by winning his match in hand.

And Egyptian striker Salah will look to add to the 17 goals that he has scored in the Premier League this season.

In an interview with Sky Sports' Jamie Carragher, Salah admitted that this season had proved "much more difficult" than his brilliant debut at Anfield.

He said, "You can feel it [the pressure] because you are still a human being. I want to win every game, but for my part, I said we were playing for the Premier League, so there is pressure. Also, there is pressure for Man City.

"I said in November that there was pressure and that it will be there until the end of the season, because when we are in agreement for the Premier League, we must accept that there is pressure.

"When you go home, you can take it with you, but it can help you work harder and focus on your game."

The 26-year-old added that his dream was to win the Premier League and that he was his main target when he will join Liverpool in 2017.

Jurgen Klopp told his title hopes that the biggest football match in the world was preparing them for "one last outstanding period of the season".

The Liverpool boss knows that the fate of his Premier League team will be heavily influenced by the visit to Old Trafford Sunday, as they will face the team in the form of the division.

Defeat by Manchester United would be a desperate blow – but Klopp is adamant that he can not worry about the consequences of his loss. Instead, he wants to have the opportunity to inspire the platform to end the campaign.

"Everyone knows in football that Manchester United against Liverpool is one of the biggest football matches in the world. We have to prepare for that and keep playing, "he explained.

"I think we are really fit to be honest. We had our problems two or three weeks ago when we shot twice, but we have a chance to play one last exceptional period of the season, with one of the toughest games ever since beginning of the period.

"We must be ready for all. Now it's a very big problem, I know it, I respect it. You think it's only a big game for Manchester United? If you go into our locker room, they are all long enough here, that's the big problem. "
