In a nutshell, as soon as Easter is behind us, Mojang developers are once again in a good mood and are sending two important updates for Minecraft. While users of the new version benefit from an update of version 1.11 based on the Bedrock engine, an update of version 1.14 is also available for the clbadic Java edition. Both updates have something in common: Mojang completes the "Village & Pillage" update, first introduced at Minecon last year. The changelogs are quite long, which is why I would like to refer you to the appropriate blog posts (English …) for once. Go to the Java edition here, for the Bedrock version, you will find everything that is important here.
The Bedrock version is now available for Windows 10, Xbox One, iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch, as well as the corresponding Java edition for Windows and other supported desktop systems. In the meantime, nothing is known of the successor. Maybe we will be smarter on June 9th, if not the next Minecon this year.
