A mother in England warns other parents of the dangers of kissing babies after her own one-year-old son nearly died from the kiss-killer virus.
Brogan Thomas posted photos on Facebook after his daughter Kaylah developed red spots all over her body.
Thomas said that Kaylah was kissed on the lips by someone who had a cold sore. "One minute she was fine next time she was not [sic]".
The family, who had suffered "many hospitalizations and was very scared," discovered that Kaylah had eczema herpeticum caused by a viral infection, such as a cold sore, which can be fatal.

"Please, please, do not kiss the kids on the lips," Thomas pleaded on Facebook. "We [were] very lucky we caught when we did! "
