More than 77,000 people deployed

– 77,962 personnel were deployed to perform their mandatory national service for one year

– The regions of Greater Accra, Ashanti and North have obtained the highest rates compared to the regions of Upper East and Upper West.

Registration registrations will begin in all regional centers across the country from Monday, July 22nd to Friday, August 20th.

The national service postings for the year 2019/2020 have been published by the National Service Secretariat (NSS).

In a statement, the Secretariat stated that the paperwork had been done on requests, the choice of regions and deployments, as had been the case in previous years.

The NSS deployed a total of 77,962 people to conduct its mandatory national service for one year at various institutions.

66,348 people were badigned to the public sector, which represents 85.1% of the total detachments. At the same time, the private sector also welcomed 11,614 service personnel, or 14.9% of the total.

In addition, about 6,000 people have been deployed in the agricultural sector to support programs such as the "Plant to Feed and Create Jobs" policy.

The entrepreneurship program in poultry production will also include some 2,000 service personnel.

Regionally, the Greater Accra region has the largest number of service agents, with 29,057 people stationed in the region.

The Upper West region, however, has the fewest staff, with a deployment of only 1,303 people.

In the meantime, prospective service staff can not print appointment letters until Friday, July 19, 2019, the NSS announced.

Registration will begin in all regional centers nationwide starting Monday, July 22, 2019 and ending on Friday, August 30, 2019.

The 2019/2020 national service will officially start on Monday, September 2nd, 2019.
