A teenager killed by a Vancouver police officer was from Micronesia
A Vancouver policeman shot dead a 16-year-old boy while he was investigating a disturbance Tuesday night in an apartment complex located southeast of Ellsworth Road, according to the Vancouver Police Department .
The boy was identified by a family friend as Clayton Joseph. He was a student at Evergreen High School, according to district spokesman Gail Spolar. Joseph started high school in December, she said.
El Gaucho steakhouse goes to Waterfront Vancouver
One of the pillars of Seattle and Portland gastronomy is the addition of a new location: El Gaucho Vancouver will open in 2020 on the ground floor of the future Indigo Hotel at Waterfront Vancouver.
The developer of the Indigo Hotel, Kirkland Development, and the steakhouse's parent company, Fire & Vine Hospitality, have announced the new Monday.
Vancouver Signs Contracts for Biological Cleaning Services as Homeless Population Increases
At the end of an alley in Vancouver's Arnada neighborhood were remnants of a campsite: cans, sleeping bags, clothes, a chair, a cooler and a carton of broken eggs, all ruined by rain.
The neighborhood police officer, Tyler Chavers, issued a cleaning notice at the campsite on Tuesday after receiving complaints from a 91-year-old woman living in a nearby camp house. None of the campers were still there on Friday morning. Tammi Neblock, a code enforcement officer for the City of Vancouver, said everything would be transferred to Waste Connections.
19-year-old man accused of raping two girls in court
A Vancouver man accused of raping two girls in separate incidents appeared Tuesday morning in the Clark County Superior Court.
Raeshaun Marquis Bolds, 19, pleaded not guilty to two counts of second degree rape of a child. Judge Robert Lewis has set Bolds' bail at $ 50,000, according to court records.

The Clark County measles outbreak remains at 64 cases, according to a press release issued by Clark County. There are two suspected cases, but Public Health has not identified new exposure sites.
