Accra, July 31, GNA – Government of Morocco
The 2019/20/20 academic year will grant 20 scholarships to Ghanaian students
willing to follow vocational training programs in Morocco, Mr. Abdelouahed
Bekki, announced the Moroccan charge of Business in Ghana.
He said the package would increase and help
to concretize the bilateral relations that the two countries had maintained during the
years.
Mr. Bekki, who announced this as part of the
Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the ascent of King Mohammed VI
in Accra indicated that outside the education sector, Morocco and Ghana had progressed
their relations in trade, technology, energy and transport between
other.
The program was sponsored by members of
diplomatic corps, Moroccan citizens and other guests
business and non-governmental organizations.
He said that Morocco, a country with the biggest
Port in Africa, would continue to strengthen its relations with other African countries.

Mr. Bekki said that Morocco also had the first
fastest train line in the Arab world, largest solar power station and railways
manufacturing in Africa and the Middle East, all of which were attributable to
achievements of King Mohammed.
He paid a laudatory tribute to former President Osagyefo
Kwame Nkrumah and King Mohammed V of Ghana and Morocco respectively for
their roles in the Organization of African Unity at the time and the subsequent struggles
which preceded the independence of the African continent.
He congratulated Ghana for its selection at

Mr. Dapaah congratulated the Moroccan government
for the progress made over the years in the fields of education, transport and technology
and badured that Ghana would continue to badociate them for mutual cooperation
advantages.
