Mr Ebenezer Korku SuppeyA member of the Assembly of the region, responding to residents' concerns, said that steps had already been taken to unclog and fumigate the gutters and address the unhealthy situation in the community.
The bad manners of dispose waste and the great indiscipline of some residents created the problem, he said.

Despite deliberate efforts for the Tema Metropolitan Assembly to help remedy the situation, it has not yet responded to its many appeals.
Mr. Frank Asante, public relations officer of the Metropolitan Assembly of Tema, said that the tragic plight of the community had been brought to the attention of the Assembly.
