When it comes to the iPad, you are either a stingy or a sheik. This is the message emerging from new data released by Context, which indicates that most people buy the cheapest or most expensive iPad.

At least in Western Europe. There, Context found that more than half of buyers would choose a 16GB iPad 2 WiFi + 3G or a 16GB iPad 2 WiFi. You might think that the entry-level WiFi model would be the most popular, but the data does not support it: 33% of all sales tracked were for the 3G version of 64 GB.

This is interesting because I always badumed that the most popular version would be the 32GB version in WiFi or 3G. It seems however that once you have decided to buy an iPad to start, a hundred dollars more is a real headache, or you can double it and expand your iPad to the maximum.

Which iPad did you get and what logic motivated your purchase? I would be curious to hear about why you bought an iPad model in the comments.
