Most Popular Plastic Surgery Procedures in Revealed Men

You have always wanted to go under the knife, but are you afraid that since you are a man, the results will be different?

We get it totally. For some reason, plastic surgery is one of the things that the norms and stereotypes of society have deemed appropriate only for women, even though bad really has nothing to do with it. Take a look at most media, like television, and you'll understand what we mean by that: women still get better plastic surgery, while men only use it for reasons of intrigue ("Face / Off" with Nicholas Cage and John Travolta, do you like it?).

This however could not be further from the truth, since a new report reveals that more than ever, more and more men are going under the knife, taking advantage of the plastic surgery procedures available today, and we are not just talking about facelift.

Often touted as the "daddy do-over," this midlife decision is starting to become really popular. Of course, men made this decision for reasons different from those of women.

"Obviously, men do not experience the same physical changes as women during and after pregnancy, but their lifestyle changes, which can affect their appearance," said Dr. Alan Matarbado, president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. (SSPA).

In any case, here are five of the most common plastic surgery procedures in men:

1. rhinoplasty – Rhinoplasty, more commonly known as "nasal puncture", is the most popular form of plastic surgery in men. According to statistics, about 52,000 rhinoplasty surgeries were performed on men returning last year.
2. Eyelid surgery – Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, comes in second place on the list of the most popular men. These are made to correct defects, deformations and disfigurements caused by old age.
3. liposuction – The third on the list are liposuctions, which are made to remove the hard-to-remove fat even with exercise.
4. Breast reductions – Surprisingly, bad reductions intended to correct overdeveloped or enlarged bads are also popular among men of average age.
5. Hair transplants – Fifth on the list are hair transplants and this is not surprising considering the hair problems that many men go through as they get older.
