A family outing for Avengers: End of the game turned sour when the kids finished the movie to see only dark lights and a locked theater after the end.

Julie Huff, a resident of Norwalk, said that she and her family were going to see Avengers: End of the game with a gift card she had for Mother's Day. The family went to AMC Clbadic Southridge 12. While her boyfriend and youngest child went to see The secret life of animals 2, his two older boys went to see the latest Avengers movie. The boys were the only two at the theater.
Since The secret life of animals 2 is only 90 minutes away, Huff and the rest of his family went to a mall while his eldest sons were finishing up Avengers: End of the game. She checked them before leaving. When she left, the theater team was sweeping and cleaning, but the families were still present at the theater.
After Avengers Huff came back for his sons and the theater was dark. There were no adults or families. Huff spoke to the Des Moines Register about his experience:
"There was no one, I could not enter and it was completely dark."
Huff almost called the police, but his children ran out of the night in the theater. She continued:
"I did not know what to do in the beginning, I thought the theater might call the police to pick up my children."

Huff filed a complaint with AMC's customer services department. Unfortunately, the AMC theater told him they could not do anything about it. AMC's customer services told him:
