The runner was burned by the anger of the youth of Fielmua
On Thursday afternoon, a biker was lynched and burned by angry residents of Fielmua, in the East-West district of Sissala, in the Upper West region, for striking and killing a pedestrian.
Police in the area, who confirmed the incident at MyNewGh.com, revealed that around 3:00 pm, a 30-year-old Burkinabe national who had not yet been identified had 30 years.
On reaching a stretch of the road near the Catholic Church / Fielmua, Theresa Kyizagl, 52, who was crossing the road was knocked down.
The suspect runner who was not satisfied with the incident removed a knife and stabbed him to death.
Subsequently, an angry mob also attacked the rider and killed him instantly.
They then burned his body with his motorcycle.
The bodies of the two dead were transported to the morgue of Nandom Hospital while waiting for an autopsy, while the police revealed that she was looking for the perpetrators of the lynching.
