Barcelona defender B, Moussa Wague, has been inflicted a four-game ban for hitting a supporter in the face this weekend.
Wague, 20, clashed with a supporter of SD Ejea during Barca B's 1-0 defeat on Sunday, while he was trying to grab the ball to make a touch. The Senegalese international has since apologized for his actions, which he said were provoked by "numerous and repeated racist insults".
Barca has not filed a complaint for racist abuse allegations, but will appeal the duration of the ban. Ejea, meanwhile, thanked Wague for apologizing, but said he was unaware of any racism he experienced during the Spanish Third Division match.

"We want to publicly thank Moussa Wague for his apology," the club said in an article on Twitter. "With respect to his complaint that he received racist slurs, at no time did the referees, the stewards, the security personnel or any other person in the club [Ejea] aware of something like that happens.
"All [racism] would have been treated very strongly. "
Wague, who scored for Senegal at the World Cup, is in his first season in Barcelona after signing with the Belgian team KAS Eupen.
The right-back did not debut in Team B before October due to bureaucratic problems, but quickly established himself alongside Garcia Pimienta and was on the sideline of the first team match, the Copa del Rey in Levante.
